A message from Region One Lead Peter Stoll:
On behalf of the California PBIS Core Leadership team, welcome to our statewide network of support. More specifically, for those building positive school climates in
– Del Norte
– Humboldt
– Lake
– Mendocino
– and Sonoma counties
I’d like to personally welcome you to region one.
The Humboldt County Office of Education serves as the region’s California PBIS Technical Assistance Center, housing multiple programs in our Prevention and Intervention Services Department– including Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports.
As members of the Core Leadership Team, Marci and I represent the needs of Humboldt County and all communities housed within region one when it comes to high-quality implementation.
I look forward to connecting with you soon as we continue to create equitable environments in California schools.
Region One Contacts
Peter Stoll, Ph.D.
is the Director of Prevention and Intervention Services at the Humboldt County Office of Education. Over the course of his career Peter has provided intensive individualized support as a school psychologist/behavior specialist and consultation to school districts, and held an administrative position with the Humboldt/Del-Norte SELPA as a program director for behavioral health. Currently, he is the Coordinator of Prevention and Intervention Services at the Humboldt COE coordinating MTSS technical assistance and coaching for local districts with school climate transformation efforts.
Marci Zeppegno, M.A.
is a Program Manager for Prevention and Intervention Services at the Humboldt County Office of Education. In this role she supports districts in school climate transformation work. She is a trainer and coach in PBIS, a certified trainer with the International Institute of Restorative Practices (IIRP), a trainer and coach in Universal Design for Learning (UDL), and a Region 1 Lead and certified coach for CA MTSS. Prior to this position she was an education specialist for over twenty years working with students in preschool up through high school. She received her M.A. in Education at Cal Poly Humboldt.
