Frequently Asked Questions
The conference will be located at the Safe Credit Union Convention Center: 1400 J Street in Sacramento, CA.
Ticket prices will be announced on the conference homepage in early 2026.
No. pre-conference workshops are only available as an add-on. Attendees must also purchase a two-day ticket for the general conference in order to purchase a pre-conference ticket.
The conference platform allows for registration of up to 10 people at once. A unique email address must be entered for EACH ticketholder. This will also ensure proper access to the Whova app once published.

You may pay by credit card through the online registration system. Purchase orders and checks will not be accepted.
Conference registration is tentatively scheduled to open in May 2026. Ticket sales will end in early September (date TBD) or when we are sold out. We expect tickets to sell out as they have in years past. Interested attendees should register as soon as possible.
The confirmation email sent by Whova will serve as your receipt should you need one. Please save this email for your records.
View this guide for step-by-step instructions. All attendees will be automatically added to the conference on Whova using the email address provided at the time of registration. California PBIS will provide an access code for attendees who are not automatically added as the event nears.

Yes. Attendees who wish to participate in the pre-conference MUST purchase a 3-day ticket for the session they wish to attend. Session capacity is limited and we encourage you to purchase your ticket early.
No. Breakout sessions will be open on a first-come, first-serve basis and will have limited occupancy. Adding a session to your personalized agenda on the Whova app does not guarantee admission. We encourage you to arrive early to sessions you are particularly excited about.
If you have the opportunity to review the agenda before the conference, we strongly encourage you to add sessions to your personalized agenda. This helps California PBIS better gauge session popularity. While we cannot guarantee adjustments based on attendee interest, we will do our best to accommodate demand.
Here are the steps to add a session to your personalized agenda on Whova:
- You can now view the sessions that you selected and will be automatically organized by the date and time. You can easily unselect any session to remove it from your personal agenda.
- Click on the agenda on the bottom of the mobile app.
- Scroll through all the sessions for each day and switch between days by clicking on individual dates at the top of the agenda.
- To add sessions to your personal agenda, find the calendar icon on the right side of the session and click the calendar icon.
- You can now go to your personal agenda by clicking “My Agenda” at the top of the screen next to “Full Agenda.”
If materials were provided to California PBIS by the presenter, they will be available to attendees by opening the session on the Whova app. Slides and other resources will be linked below the session description.
The Placer County Office of Education (PCOE) is approved by the California Association of Marriage and Family Therapists to sponsor continuing education for LMFTs, LCSWs, LEPs, and LPCCs (Provider Number 1032844).
Additionally, PCOE is authorized by the Behavior Analyst Certification Board as a Continuing Education Provider for BCBAs and BCaBAs (Provider Number OP-19-3020).
California PBIS will be offering credits for presentations that meet the continuing education requirements for individuals who hold a license or certification in the following categories:
- Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA)
- Board Certified Associate Behavior Analyst (BCaBA
- Licensed Clinical Social Workers (LCSW)
- Licensed Educational Psychologist (LEP)
- Licensed Marriage and Family Therapists (LMFT)
- Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC)
PCOE maintains responsibility for all courses and their content. Detailed information regarding the opportunity to earn Continuing Education Credits (CECs) at the California PBIS Conference will be provided as needed at www.pbisca.org.
