Guidelines for California PBIS Social Media Pages:
The purpose of California PBIS’ social media pages (currently Facebook and YouTube) is to share news and updates about California PBIS and to highlight PBIS-related work happening across the state and nation in support of public education. California PBIS welcomes and encourages contributions from the community in the form of comments, photo tagging, shares, etc.
Official California PBIS social media sites and/or platforms shall be used only for their stated purposes and in a manner consistent with these guidelines. California PBIS social media platforms are moderated online discussion sites and not considered a public forum.
California PBIS abides by each platform’s Statement of Rights and Responsibilities and asks the community to do the same. California PBIS reserves the right to remove comments and images that are:
- Defamatory, discriminatory, harassing, bullying, intimidating, hateful, libelous, slanderous or may be considered hostile.
- Obscene, pornographic, contain nudity or graphic or gratuitous violence.
- Proprietary or unauthorized commercial solicitations, such as spam, or include links to unauthorized sites.
- Clearly off-topic.
- Misleading or advocate for illegal activity.
- Violations of privacy.
- Copyright or trademark infringements.
Community comments expressed on California PBIS social media platforms do not reflect the official opinion or position of California PBIS, the California PBIS Leadership Team, or affiliated Technical Assistance Centers.
