The California PBIS Impact Award

The California PBIS Impact Award recognizes leaders whose commitment to PBIS has made a meaningful and lasting impact on students, staff and school communities. The award celebrates leaders who champion PBIS as part of a broader commitment to student success, staff support and affirming learning environments.

In 2026, the California PBIS Impact Award honors district superintendents whose leadership has advanced PBIS implementation, strengthened school climate and supported positive social-emotional-behavioral outcomes for students. Honorees demonstrate sustained support for implementation, encourage continuous improvement through California PBIS Recognition and ongoing technical assistance, and help ensure PBIS remains connected to valued student outcomes across the districts they serve.

The 2026 California PBIS Impact Award Winner will be announced at the California PBIS annual conference, October 7-9, in Sacramento.
