About

The following organizations have been awarded the Partner Entity grant award from the California Department of Education for the purpose of supporting CA MTSS. These organizations will work with the  Orange County Department of Education and the Butte County Office of Education to continue the efforts for CA MTSS implementation across the state.

  • Placer County Office of Education (Grant Lead)
  • Santa Clara County Office of Education
  • Kern County Superintendent of Schools
  • WestEd

This grant will provide funding for high-quality, professional learning to educators in SEL; trauma-informed practices; and culturally relevant, affirming, and sustaining practices— all in a manner that aligns with local CA MTSS. California PBIS Regional Technical Assistance Centers will be supporting the execution of this project.

Designed to enhance CA MTSS which features a continuum of support for Inclusive Academic, BEhavior and SEL/MH Instruction and Interventions, CA-ISP will utilize 14 modules through 5 domains: Identity, Supportive Environment, Voice, Situational Appropriateness, and Data for Equity/Implicit Bias. Learn more about various elements of the California Integrated Suports Project below.
